Oilstop and Happy's May Be Coming to Keizer Station

July 6, 2026

There's a new oil change and car wash project in the works near Keizer Station, Oregon. Oilstop Drive Thru Oil Change and Happy's Drive Thru Car Wash have applied to build on a site next to the Keizer Transit Center, but the city still has to approve the land use changes before anything gets built. That decision will start with a public hearing on Wednesday, July 1, where Keizer residents can share their thoughts before the city council votes.

Even though the project itself isn't approved yet, the city is already benefiting from it. Back in December, Keizer agreed to sell the land for 1.9 million dollars. That money is going to good use: about 1 million dollars is going back into the city's street fund, and the rest is helping cover the city's retirement costs.

Oilstop and Happy's are both established, well known brands. Oilstop has been changing oil for nearly 40 years and operates in 33 markets across the West, and Happy's has grown to 8 car wash locations since opening its first one in Albany, Oregon 8 years ago. If the project gets approved, the two would share one site, so Keizer drivers could get an oil change and a car wash in a single stop.

If everything moves forward, the earliest this location would open is spring or summer of 2027. We'll keep an eye on it and update this post as we learn more. In the meantime, if you're due for an oil change, we're already here and ready to help.
